Press release from the issuing company

Rochester, NY - April 4, 2008 - PODi, the Digital Printing Initiative, announces the publication of the 2008 Digital Print Case Studies collection along with a new and improved online database. Forty-five new digital print success stories are being added to the database, bringing the total to well over 300. The new database gives users expanded search features which allow them to quickly and easily explore the collection and find exactly what they are looking for.

The PODi database, www.podi.org/casestudy, contains successful case studies from around the world, covering over 12 market segments and dozens of different marketing communications applications. They demonstrate, with real world stories and results, how marketers are using digital print solutions to solve challenges, increase profits and decrease costs. Each case study is illustrated with visuals from the featured communication along with details on objectives, planning and production. These actual examples make complex digital campaigns clear and easy to understand.

This year, users will find detailed write-ups of PODi's Best Practice Award winners announced at the 2008 AppForum as well as two case studies from China, illustrating the dynamics of that exciting market. Users can search by vertical market for applications like lead generation, direct order, collateral management and more. Many of this year's case studies feature personalized URLs, multichannel programs and Web to print solutions.

Case studies are essential resources for both progressive printing and marketing solutions businesses and for their clients. Says PODi member, W. Dean Thompson of Communicorp, Inc., "PODi case studies provide innovative creative concepts along with quantitative documentation. Our ability to provide this intellectual property has improved customer relations, loyalty, increased our client base and our total corporate sales."
