Sewickley, PA, March 18, 2008 - The Binding Industries Association (BIA) is pleased to announce that James R. Niesen, former executive director of the BIA, is the inaugural inductee into the BIA Hall of Fame. Jim will be inducted during the 2008 BIA Mid Management Conference April 28-29, 2008 in Schaumburg, IL.
Under his leadership, the BIA expanded its membership worldwide, oversaw the creation of The Binding Edgemagazine, expanded the prestigious Product of Excellence (POE) competition, organized Bindathons throughout theU.S., Canada, and England, and significantly increased member services and programs.
