BÖWE BELL + HOWELL and CMC Strengthen North American Market Presence

Press release from the issuing company

Wheeling, Ill., July 14, 2008 – BÖWE BELL + HOWELL, a leading provider of document processing and postal solutions, and CMC of Città di Castello, Italy, a producer of mail inserting systems, today announced a collaborative agreement that will strengthen the presence of CMC products throughout North America. The strategy calls for CMC to establish a direct marketing channel that complements BÖWE BELL + HOWELL's existing distribution network for CMC products.

BBH successfully introduced many CMC products to the U.S. market since first establishing the relationship in 2002. BBH will sell and service the CMC product line as a continuation of its relationship with CMC.

"We have enjoyed an excellent partnership with CMC for many years," said John Lombard, BÖWE BELL + HOWELL president, field operations. "The expansion of the distribution strategy is intended to provide CMC with direct contact to the markets we jointly serve. By being in the market, close to the customer, CMC will have greater insights into market requirements."

"Since first establishing the relationship with BBH, we have successfully introduced the product line to the North American market," said Giuseppe Ponti, CMC president. "Our plans to add a direct presence will further help us meet the needs of the largest mailing and graphics market in the world and support our partnership with BBH. Our continued collaboration with our long-term partner will enable us to achieve even greater success in North America."
