Quebecor World Appoints Kevin Akeroyd President Targeted Direct Marketing Division

May 10, 2007 -- MONTREAL, CANADA-- Quebecor World Inc., is pleased to announce the appointment of Kevin Akeroyd as President of the Targeted Direct Marketing Division. Mr. Akeroyd will play a key role in this important growth segment, ensuring that Quebecor World's Targeted Direct Marketing Division provides the latest targeted marketing and advertising solutions to Quebecor World's customers as part of the Company's multi-channel marketing solution. "Kevin is great addition to our leadership team. His experience and knowledge in marketing, internet solutions and print will help us shape and strengthen our Customer Value Initiative to provide our customers with a complete, multi-channel marketing solution to help them drive greater value and sales," said Wes Lucas, President and CEO Quebecor World Inc. We are doing this by attracting the best and the brightest as well as by promoting our people into new leadership roles." Kevin Akeroyd joins Quebecor World after two CEO roles, most recently of GalleryPlayer, a leader in HD digital content services, and before that of The Loan Page, a prominent competitor to Lending Tree. Prior to this, Mr. Akeroyd was Senior Vice President and General Manager for Digital Impact. Under his leadership the company became a Top 20 Interactive Agency and one of the top multi-channel integrated direct marketing firms in the industry, before being acquired by the Acxiom Corporation. In addition to several executive roles in Silicon Valley startups, Mr. Akeroyd spent a decade in various leadership positions at RR Donnelley & Sons serving in senior leadership and sales roles in the Direct Marketing and Premedia Groups. Mr. Akeroyd is an alumni of the Stanford Graduate School of Business in Palo Alto, CA and the University of Washington in Seattle, WA. Mr. Richard Tremblay who served as the President of the Targeted Direct Marketing Division will assist Mr. Akeroyd in the transition. Once completed, Mr. Tremblay will assume new responsibilities related to specific projects centered on the Company's Five-Point Transformation Plan. In his new role Mr.Tremblay will continue to report to the President and CEO.
