Vienna, Austria, Ifra 07 - Stand B620 - 9 October 2007  -  Agfa Graphics (Stand B620) announced today that Agfa Prima FS105 fountain solution and Xtrawash Plus 60 both will both be demonstrated at Ifra, the international newspaper and publishing show taking place October 8-10, 2007 in Vienna, Austria.
In printing, the major chemical process is between the printing plate, the fountain solution and the roller and blanket wash. As Agfa develops these three products alongside each other, they are highly compatible and easy to use with each other.
The FOGRA approved fountain solution Prima FS105 News ensures an efficient production thanks to its ability to maintain a constant pH, even on poor stock quality. It provides faster and cleaner start-ups resulting in less paper wastage.
The FOGRA approved AIII wash Xtrawash Plus 60 is an aromatic free, blanket and roller wash with a strong ink solvency for manual and automatic use.
Starting from the composition of the plate, Agfa's pressroom chemicals are developed for optimal collaboration with the plate. This direct connection with the printing plate offers customer a guaranteed compatibility, a trouble-free production and an overall increase in productivity.
