LINCOLNSHIRE, Ill. - Mitsubishi Lithographic Presses has announced the promotion of Barclay Laux to the newly created position of Sheetfed Product Specialist.
Laux will assist in sales of Mitsubishi sheetfed presses through field sales support, technical sales development and presentations to existing and prospective customers on the capabilities of Mitsubishi presses. He will be responsible for further developing relationships with suppliers of auxiliary equipment on new and approved products. He also will coordinate customer demonstrations. In addition, he will work with Mitsubishi's sales administration to specify the appropriate technical components within sales agreements.
Laux, formerly demonstrator/trainer in the Demonstration Center at the company's corporate headquarters in Lincolnshire, Ill., joined Mitsubishi in 1999. Previously, his principal responsibilities included customer training and press demonstrations, as well as helping customers solve printing problems.
In his new position, Laux reports to Dennis Dessilla, director of sales.
Mitsubishi also named veteran demonstrator/trainer Scott Kiecana to the post of Lead Demonstrator. Kiecana will head the Demonstration Center and will work with the sales and customer service departments to continually improve the effectiveness of customer demonstrations. He also will continue to provide lithographic field service.
Kiecana came to Mitsubishi in 1995. He will continue to report to Mike Abbeduto, director of customer service.
