Tensor Awarded Seven-Tower Press Order in Finland

Press release from the issuing company

WOODRIDGE, IL (September 9, 2007) - Tensor Group, Inc. announces the sale of a new pressline in Finland.  Pyhajokiseudun Kirjapaino Oy, MD Asko Talvi, recently purchased seven Tensor T-400BE 4-high towers, two H-50 heavy-duty jaw folders and auxiliaries to be installed in their plant in Oulainen, Finland. Sold through agent, AB Wamuc Suomi Oy, this will be the largest Tensor pressline to be installed in Finland.
Founded in 1964, Pyhajokiseudun Kirjapaino Oy is a contract print shop for local newspapers in the Northern part of Finland. In 2000, they purchased Oulun Kirjateollisuus Oy, a print shop in Oulu, and merged it with their facility in Oulainen. Earlier this year, they purchased the business operation, including machinery and equipment, of Kainuun Sanomat Newspaper printing house, a division of the Alma Media Group in Kajaani (www.almamedia.fi/home). Pyhajokiseudun Kirjapaino Oy will now be contracting with Alma Media to print their local newspapers.
The new Tensor press will consist of seven T-400BE 4-high towers, two H-50 heavy-duty jaw folders with quarter folders, Inventor Graphic spray dampening, a DCOS footprint shaftless drive system, Perretta automatic register controls and remote inking and two Motterstitch stitchers.
The installation will begin in early 2008.
Pyhajokiseudun Kirjapaino Oy will primarily print high quality 1/2 and 1/4 folded tabloids as well as broadsheet newspapers like Kainuun Kanomat. After visiting comparable Tensor press sites in Scandinavia, Pyhajokiseudun Kirjapaino Oy was impressed with the technical solutions Tensor offered. The local support they will receive from AB Wamuc Suomi Oy also helped finalize their decision to purchase a Tensor press.
