Phoenix, AZ August 2007 - Mutoh America, large format printer manufacturer has teamed up with leaders in the Sign Industry to present the First Ever Sign Shop Make Over Contest, in which one lucky winner will be awarded over $100,000 worth of equipment, supplies and services.
Partners involved include 3M Company, Korographics; digital wall covering substrate provider, GBC; films and finishing equipment manufacturer, SA International (SAi); sign-making software corporation, GEI Wide Format; distributors of Colortrac a scan to print system, and Sign Business and Digital Graphics Magazines. The contest is creating nationwide attention. It officially kicked off at the Sign Business and Digital Graphics Show in Long Beach, Calif. (Aug. 9-11) and will continue at Indianapolis (Sept. 6-8) and SGIA in Orlando, FL (October 24 – 27).
"I am extremely excited to have joined forces with so many great partners to give back to the sign industry, a first ever Sign Shop Makeover worth over 100,000 dollars," says Randy Rickert, Director of Sales, Marketing and Service at Mutoh America.
Contestants will be asked to submit an explanation of 500 words or less why their sign shop should be chosen for a makeover. Images and videos can also be uploaded and entered to compete in the contest. Contest entry deadline is December 31st, 2007, entries will not be accepted anytime after, so be sure to get your entries in ahead of time.

There will be a panel of judges, consisting of one person from each supporting sponsor that will choose the winner to be announced at the 2008 ISA International Sign Expo, March 26-29 in Orlando, Fla.
