Trend promotes Wayne Peterson

CARROLLTON, TX (June 17, 2008) – Trend Offset Printing has promoted veteran printing industry executive Wayne Peterson to General Manager of its Texas Division.
 
Peterson, who joined Trend in 2007 as Business Solutions Developer for strategic national partners, moved to the Trend Texas team in 2008 as the Sales Vice President of the Texas Division.
 
In his new role as General Manager, Peterson will implement strategies to continue to improve the overall health ofTexas division and will contribute to the Trend Offset growth strategy.
 
“I am very excited to take on this new role as general manager of Trend’s Texas division,” Peterson said. “Trend Texasis perfectly positioned to grow substantially, and continue creating raving fans from our customers.  We have an exceptional team in Texas, and it’s a great privilege to be asked to lead it.”
 
Peterson will report to Ed Yandell, chief operating officer of Trend Offset Printing, one of the largest commercial printers in North America.
 
“Wayne’s background in sales, marketing and print manufacturing make him well suited for this new position at Trend,” Yandell said. “His innovative leadership strategy will help Trend reach its growth goals.”
 
Peterson has 30+ years of experience in sales, marketing, operations and general management – in 1991, Wayne served as president of the InterPrint Corporation, a specialized printing and publishing company. He then formed and was president of the Sequoia Consulting Group Inc., a successful marketing and management consultancy, serving firms in the printing industry. Later Wayne joined the executive team of Judd’s, serving as chief marketing officer and as senior vice president/marketing and sales for the Judd’s book division. Wayne then joined United Litho Inc., an operating company of the Sheridan Group and served as vice president of sales & marketing for nine years prior to being promoted to vice president of magazine sales for the Sheridan Group.
