"EskoArtwork is the world leading provider of packaging design software and commercial print workflows that enables retailers, CPG companies, design agencies, packaging suppliers and commercial printers to achieve their design and production requirements with goals towards more environmental and cost effective packaging and printed materials. Participating in the 2nd Annual The Business of Green Media Conference, EskoArtwork recognizes the influence that Cal Poly brings to the graphic communication industry in helping to bring about a more sustainable world."

Quote from Dustin Ritter, Director of Marketing for Printable Technologies "Participating in SustainCommWorld's The Business of Green Media Conference fulfills an important strategic objective for Printable Technologies. It provides a means to educate organizations on how to produce targeted print materials on demand, resulting in more efficient marketing material and a reduced carbon footprint, by leveraging a sustainable collateral management system. Though leveraging web-to-print technology is not top of mind when going green, our solutions provide substantial economic and environmental benefits that surpass many mainstream alternatives through greater operational effectiveness requiring less time and, therefore, less energy consumption."

Quote from Harvey Levenson, head of Cal Poly's Graphic Communication Department
"The conference agenda addresses the myriad of issues and approaches to help participants understand and install sustainable procedures in difficult economic times. Because of the need to assist the graphic communication industry to 'reinvent' itself and grow in light of economic cutbacks, the conference will focus on 'Being Lean, Green and Profitable in a Shrinking Economy.' "

A special panel on Lean management and manufacturing has been added to the conference." Other conference topics include:

- Igniting Green Media Business Growth, Innovation and Resilience

- Standards and Certifications for the Greening of Print & Digital Media Best Practices - (Traditional and Digital)

- Sustainability as a Strategy for Stakeholder Engagement, Business Growth & Innovation
