Williamson Printing Corporation named among top North American printers

[DALLAS] July 31, 2007 — Dallas-based Williamson Printing Corporation has been listed among this year’s Top 101 Printers in North America by Graphic Arts Monthly (GAM) magazine and Graphic Arts BlueBook (GABB). GAM surveyed more than 500 of the continent’s leading printing firms and, with sales of $80 million for the latest fiscal year, Williamson Printing came in 65th on the list.
Williamson Printing also ranked highly in the percentage of sales invested back into the company. Williamson Printing committed 13 percent this past year whereas top printers invest an average of three percent of sales, according to GAM’s findings in this year’s 25th annual ranking of sales leaders in North America.
Members of the GAM 101 represented $44.5 billion in sales with 73% of the list posting sales gains, 34% of which were double-digit increases. The printing industry, with over 43,000 operations, is a $160 billion market in the United States.
