Kodak's Vic Stalam to Present Overview of the Label Converting Market at L&NW Label Symposium

Press release from the issuing company

ROCHESTER, N.Y., Nov. 13 2007 - Strategic business challenges and opportunities facing label converters comprise the focus of the Label & Narrow Web (L&NW) Symposium at the Heldrich Hotel in New Brunswick, N.J. Vic Stalam, Vice President of Market Segments and Packaging for Kodak's Graphic Communications Group, serves as the opening speaker at the one day conference and exhibition on Nov. 15.
Stalam will discuss trends and technologies impacting label converters, with an emphasis on ideas and solutions to help enhance their operations, products and services.
"Label manufacturing serves as a dynamic, competitive industry," said Stalam. "Converters that demonstrate an understanding of the issues affecting their customers-such as globalization, demand for faster time to market, the importance of counterfeit prevention, and increasing efforts around sustainability-stand to capitalize on the growth potential of the labeling market."
Stalam provided the opening remarks at the first L&NW Symposium in 2006. In addition to Stalam's remarks, Kodak's presence at this year's event includes a booth with information about its broad portfolio of solutions for label printers and converters.
