4th Annual Grafik'Art Tradeshow Coming in April

Laval, PQ – March 27, 2007 – The most important event of the Graphic Arts Industry in Canada – the 4th Annual Grafik’Art Tradeshow – will be held April 19-21, 2007 at the Place Bonaventure, Montréal. Special Presentation: The Graphic Workflow Grafik'Art reveals its colors! This year’s program sessions focus on today’s issues, such as sales and marketing, press and prepress technology, and production management. In addition there are seminars, conferences, lively debates and demonstrations that offer open exchange between attendees, exhibitors, speakers, and industry experts. Visitors will have the opportunity to attend a real-time presentation of “The Graphic Workflow,” a live demonstration of the graphic production process presented step by step, in collaboration with Fujifilm and KBR Graphics. Three or four times each day, Fujifilm will demonstrate the CtP prepress process by creating a poster on Pro-T process-less plates on its stand. Attendees will then see the poster produced on the Hamada press in the KBR Graphics stand. A Winning Team In order to reach out to new business customers, Luc Saumure, vice-president and general manager of AMPQ editions, has been named show co-promoter. This event is a great opportunity for all participants in the Graphic Arts and Printing Industry, as well as business executives and commercial enterprises, to explore printed communications solutions. “We have joined with the AMPQ to promote this event, and we look to organize many more events together. In fact, with the support of our partner, le Comité sectoriel de main-d’oeuvre des communications graphiques du Québec, the 4th annual Grafik'Art Tradeshow will provide our exhibitors and visitors an unequalled array of products and services,” said Louis Bernard, co-promoter of the Grafik'Art Tradeshow. This Year’s Theme: Innovation “This year more than 140 exhibitors will offer unique and innovative products. We are proud to announce the participation of such large companies as GBC Canada, Presstek, Heidelberg, Xerox, Gandinnovation, VUTEk, Hewlett Packard, Komori, Hamada, and others,” adds Louis Bernard. “We highlight the presence of a major exhibitor such as Konica Minolta with its complete line of new generation copiers, bizhub PRO.” The Grafik'Art Tradeshow is open April 19 and 20 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and April 21 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The ticket prices are $10 online at www.grafikart.ca until April 13 or $20 at the door, all taxes included.
