Press release from the issuing company
(Painesville, OH) – Avery Dennison Graphics & Reflective Products Division North America announced the release of the 2009 Color Selector and the launch of the new, redesigned Avery Graphics Web site for sign shops and designers that is easy-to-use with updated product information, new cross referencing tools and a section on the Company's eco friendly products and sustainability initiatives.
The new Web site, www.averygraphics.com, is an easy-to-use resource with the latest information on Avery Graphics new digital media and screen & cut products, Avery Dennison reflective films and Fasson offset sheets and labels. It features improved navigation, updated product information and naming, and new cross-reference tools with both new and old product names. Avery Dennison, a leading provider of digital media, screen print and cut vinyl products to the sign and graphics industry, offers the widest selection of free ICC profiles in the industry which are updated and available on the Web site.
The Web site features a new section highlighting eco-friendly Avery Dennison products as well as the company's sustainability initiatives including environmental safety initiatives at factories, utility reduction and greener packaging. Sign shops can also locate an Avery Graphics distributor in the Partners section through the online database which is searchable by country, state/province, city and product type.
The Avery Graphics Color Selector makes it easy for sign shops to determine what product is best for each application and to show customers the wide range of colors available to them. The 2009 Color Selector showcases the new Avery Graphics Screen & Cut Portfolio – a merger of the sign cut and screen print product lines – that expands the best available combination of face film, adhesive performance and liner technologies into more than 400 products. The new screen & cut portfolio includes cast opaque and translucent, calendered, specialty and reflective films. The new "smart" naming system is prominently featured on the inside cover and both old and new product names are included in the Color Selector to make the transition to the new naming system easier.
The 2009 Color Selector features larger swatches of actual product samples in the screen & cut portfolio. The color swatches are in strips that can be removed so that color selections are easily distinguishable and can be matched and reinserted in the Color Selector. Users can feel the quality of the vinyl and compare and contrast the durability and gloss level of each product. Translucent products are featured in a special page that is die-cut so that each color can be easily viewed and placed on a light box for color matching and choice. The Avery Graphics Color Selector makes it easy for sign shops to determine what product is best for each application and to show customers the wide range of colors available to them.
The Color Selector is free and available for sign shops, graphic designers and architecture firms from Avery Graphics distributor partners. Printers and sign shops can contact Avery Dennison at 800-282-8379 or visit www.averygraphics.com for more information.
