Pittsburgh, PA, January 14, 2008- PIA/GATF announced today that two of their top-tier sections - Sales and Marketing Executives (S&ME) and Print Industry Financial Executives (PIFE), will become core services to all PIA/GATF members at no additional cost.
The affiliate managers along with the officers of PIA/GATF have determined that PIFE and S&ME offer significant value to members and should be complimentary to all who hold positions in sales, marketing, and finance.
Both sections offer members unparalleled opportunities to help with today's tough challenges, in non-competitive, peer-to-peer forums. Networking in both groups is constant with national conferences, an email listserve, e-mail newsletters, and dedicated websites. S&ME and PIFE programming and services are carefully tailored to meet member's needs and aim to optimize professional growth.
"These sections are unique to the graphics arts community, and the national conferences are one-of a kind" said Mary Garnett, Executive Vice President, PIA/GATF.
S&ME membership is made up of sales and marketing managers, directors, owners, presidents and vice presidents, while PIFE touts CFOs, controllers, and directors of finance. All PIA/GATF member companies are strongly encouraged to sign personnel up for these programs. Many new programs and services are under development including sales training. Current members of the sections will not have to take any action on their part and will comprise the base of membership.
