MINNEAPOLIS – March 20, 2007 – Four51 Inc. announced today that its next semester of University Four51, entitled “Marketing to Marketers,” would be brought to its commerce network community starting Thursday, March 22.
“We had a lot of great feedback from the Four51 community with our first session of University Four51, ‘Successful E-Commerce Selling,’ and based on that success it’s only natural we host another semester,” said Tim Morin, executive vice president of sales, marketing, and business development at Four51.
The first semester of University Four51, held in the autumn of 2006 and focusing on selling an e-commerce solution, was extremely popular. The spring 2007 session will focus on marketing effectively, consistently and successfully. “Marketing is a challenging and often confusing undertaking,” said Morin. “We want to help all our customers become better positioned with marketing executives to drive growth in 2007. A strong marketing plan and competency is integral.”
Morin will be joined at University Four51 by sales and marketing consultant Kathy Emerson. Ms. Emerson has a strong background as a corporate marketing executive and has spent 28 years working and consulting in corporate marketing and business development. With an MBA in organizational leadership from the University of Minnesota, Ms. Emerson brings a unique and honed sense of strategic business acumen and tactical practicality to the Four51 community. “We are excited about adding Kathy as a visiting professor for this session,” said Morin. “Kathy brings a lot of valuable experience to our network community and we are confident she’ll add a lot of value to our classes.”
University Four51 registration is currently open and available on the Four51 website under the “Education” tab. Anyone with further questions should contact Laura Monn,
