Graphics of the Americas-Xplor Report Outstanding 2007 Conference Attendance

Miami Beach, Florida– March 19, 2007– Graphics of the Americas-Xplor, the second largest U.S.-based annual international graphic communications exhibit and conference, today announced the outcome of their conference sessions, held February 28 through March 4, 2007 in Miami Beach, Florida. Conference organizers are happy to report that over 1100 individuals attended one or more of the four conferences including Xplor Document University, Creative Suite, Artes Graficas and the Printing Association of Florida. Xplor Document University Xplor's Document University featured a number of changes in format including simplification of the conference curricula that included 22 individual courses targeted at executive and senior level management, consultants, influencers, technical staff, implementers, operations and sales personnel. In addition, the courses were organized by topic and geared towards variable data and transactional, as well as commercial printers and creative professionals. Creative Suite Conference Targeted at the large creative professional audience that attends Graphics of the Americas, The Creative Suite Conference featured four days of educational classes for graphic designers, art directors, web developers and pre-press professionals. The Creative Suite Conference also provided the audience with the industry's foremost authorities and expert instructors who together, provided over 25 individual classes. Artes Graficas and Conversion Magazine Seminars Conducted by Barb Pellow and Hal Hinderliter, with simultaneous translation in Spanish, the Artes Graficas and Conversion magazine seminar series provided the tools and case studies for attendees to explore and succeed in personalized and variable data printing. The series spanned three sessions and covered the market for printers in direct marketing, success stories in commercial and labels markets and variable data printing workflows. PAF Fast Track The Printing Association of Florida and Graphics of the Americas event organizer, offered three panel sessions geared towards their affiliate members. Visitors could attend any one of three sessions including Leading the Document Industry, Color Management and Expanding Your Storefront without Lifting a Finger, a Web-to-Print Symposium. What to Expect in 2008 Attendees and exhibitors of Graphics of the Americas 2008 can look forward to a unique event featuring an international audience of printers, dealers and creative professionals. With the addition of the Printing Association of Florida's and third party conferences, attendees can take advantage of multiple educational opportunities at the Miami Beach Convention Center. Together, the combined conferences and exhibition will provide both attendees and exhibitors with a venue that addresses the needs of both end-users and printers with a one-of-a kind showcase for the convergence of knowledge, products and technology. In addition, the combined event builds upon the strengths of all contributors, bridging the gap between digital and non-digital worlds that is both education and exhibit oriented.
