EFI to Bring Print Industry's Largest User Conference to the Wynn Las Vegas
Press release from the issuing company
Feb. 15, 2007--The print industry's largest user conference, EFI Connect, is scheduled for June 10-13th at the Wynn Las Vegas, and printing industry leaders from around the world can now register at www.efi.com/connect07/. Over the four day event, participants will have the opportunity to attend more than 160 educational sessions, test drive the latest EFI products, discuss industry trends, and network with peers.
The theme of the eighth annual conference -- "Discover, Innovate, Integrate" -- will be reflected in new sessions, keynote topics and customer panels. The conference also features exhibits of the latest printing technologies from leading vendors.
Attendees will hear keynotes from EFI executives, and a special Tuesday morning session from one of the world's foremost authorities on innovation, Guy Kawasaki. Kawasaki is a managing director of Garage Technology Ventures, an early-stage venture capital firm, and a columnist for Entrepreneur Magazine. Previously, he was an Apple Fellow at Apple Inc. where he was one of the individuals responsible for the success of the Macintosh computer. Kawasaki is the author of eight books including The Art of the Start, Rules for Revolutionaries, How to Drive Your Competition Crazy, Selling the Dream, and The Macintosh Way.
"We expect this year's conference to be the biggest and best yet, and look forward to spending time with hundreds of customers at the Wynn," said Marc Olin, senior vice president/general manager, EFI Professional Printing Applications. "Connect is packed with informative sessions and opportunities to interact with EFI staff, partners and vendors, and I'm sure attendees will be inspired by Guy Kawasaki's talk. It's well worth the time customers spend away from operating their business to attend educational sessions and get exposure to the newest technology and trends in the industry."
