EFI Fiery technology innovation delivers increased productivity, brilliant, consistent color, "Out of the Box" robust security and enhanced flexibility, enabling users to maximize the performance and productivity of these high-speed Ricoh devices. Designed to expedite the printing process, the Series delivers up to 25, 30, 35, or 40 pages per minute (ppm) for color output, and up to 25, 30, 35, or 45 ppm for black-and-white documents. In-house color printing capability is a significant business advantage; therefore, the EFI Series integrates Fiery ColorWise(R), the EFI in-RIP color management system. Fiery ColorWise delivers consistent color across applications, computer platforms, color spaces, and color file formats, allowing users to easily achieve undeviating, professional-level color. In addition, the optional EFI Spot-On enables users to match specific colors, while the Auto Trapping option offers advanced methods for layering graphics and printing on colored backgrounds. Knowing that time is of the essence to any organization, the MP C2500/C3000/ C3500/C4500 EFI Series helps users better manage document workflow with the Fiery Command WorkStation(R) (CWS) utility. Serving as a virtual window into the MFP systems, CWS provides a real-time status report on all jobs being processed through the Ricoh devices. As for the systems' versatility, it can be further extended with the utility's optional Fiery(R) Impose application, an in-RIP imposition tool that allows last-minute revisions that can be made directly on the printing device. Businesses can also eliminate errors and improve efficiencies due to the Fiery Driver, which provides an easy-to-use graphics user interface and templates that enable one- click printing of complex documents. Furthermore, PDF, PostScript, EPS, TIFF and font files can be directly downloaded to the Fiery, accelerating throughput capabilities.
