Press release from the issuing company

NEW YORK, Jan. 30, 2007 -- The XMPie Users Group held the inaugural XMPie Users Group Annual Conference in Las Vegas, NV January 19th and 20th with nearly 200 attendees. The one-and-a-half-day event incorporated a comprehensive program of activities and open discussion forums encompassing both a technology oriented curriculum and a marketing and business development track. XMPie staff and XMPie users discussed the latest variable data publishing technology, trends, and best practices in a highly interactive forum that received rave reviews. Stefan Agustsson, President of the XMPie Users Group and Vice President of Yoffi Digital Press stated, "This first conference exceeded our expectations and we are already beginning to plan next year's event. Members took advantage of the event to network with peers, speak with XMPie staff and sponsor representatives, and attend the many technical and marketing sessions to learn about new and innovative ways to implement cross-media marketing campaigns for their customers." More than 170 XMPie users from 90 companies mingled with XMPie technical and marketing staff. In addition, Adobe, EFI, Press-Sense, Tecra and USADATA sponsored the conference and took advantage of the opportunity to interact one-on-one with the XMPie community. "The demand for personalized communications is growing rapidly and this was evident by the large number of attendees at this year's XMPie user conference," said Robin Tobin, Senior Manager, Print Industry marketing, Creative Solutions business unit at Adobe. "XMPie provides the tools that capture the industry's imagination and give marketers and brand owners the opportunities to reach and captivate their audiences through personalization. With the Adobe Creative Suite and XMPie's tools, we are creating opportunities for innovation in communications and for reaching the adopters of personalization." XMPie President and Users Group Board Member Jacob Aizikowitz added, "The outcome of the conference was better than we expected with more than 50% of the Users Group member companies in attendance. The level of participation is indicative of the loyalty and openness of XMPie users and it is unprecedented for a group which has only been established for a few months. We will be working hard to make next year's conference even better." In addition to the annual conference, the XMPie Users Group will be launching online forums in mid-February, presenting regular educational webinars, and building a library of online resources including best practices, case studies and a peer-to-peer support network for marketing and technical discussions.
