Chase Corporation announces that effective January 2007, Neenah Paper Inc. of Alpharetta, GA has become the exclusive distributor to the fine paper merchants in North America of Chase's Paper Tyger product line of tear and water resistant laminated papers. "Neenah's reputation for premium papers, their focus on specialty paper products and their industry leading distribution channels make this an exciting partnership to continue the dynamic growth of our proven line of durable papers", stated Jim Lordi, Director of Paper Laminates of Chase Corporation. Jim went on to say, "Paper Tyger tear and water resistant laminated papers are manufactured using our patented process to provide an innovative alternative to synthetic papers and other tear resistant products. Paper Tyger provides the durability of synthetic products, but with the significant printing and converting advantages of real paper which makes it uniquely suitable for digital, laser and conventional printers." Chase will continue to manufacture and supply Paper Tyger products directly into the envelope, tag and label and other OEM markets where we can exploit our technology and ability to customize for specific performance requirements.
