Label Advantage Enhances its Converting Capabilities with HP Indigo Press ws4000

PALO ALTO, Calif., June 8, 2007 – HP today announced that Des Moines-based Label Advantage, Inc. is expanding its range of offerings for the retail and pharmaceutical industries with the HP Indigo press ws4000.  Specializing in customized label converting, Label Advantage selected the digital press to provide its label customers with medium- and small-quantity orders, as well as faster turnaround times.

Printing in up to seven colors, the HP Indigo press ws4000 is designed to cost-effectively produce high-quality labels on-demand at high speeds.  Its speed, quality and variable data capabilities allow label printers and converters like Label Advantage to gain a competitive advantage and react immediately and profitably to new business trends.

Established in 1996, Label Advantage produces pressure-sensitive and digitally printed labels, an increasingly popular service with its retail customers.  In addition to printing wine and pharmaceutical labels, the company also provides product testing labels for its health and beauty customers.  With the HP Indigo press, Label Advantage has the ability to set up a six-color print job in less than 15 minutes with PANTONE® color matching using the HP IndiChrome process.
