Rochester Software Associates Enters Into OEM Relationship With Sun Microsystems and Nu Horizons

Press release from the issuing company

Rochester, NY, December 8th, 2006 - Rochester Software Associates, Inc. (RSA) an industry-leading supplier of print workflow solutions, today announced an expansion of its ten year relationship with Sun Microsystems, in which RSA has been appointed an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Technology Partner for Sun's complete line of servers, workstations and software products. Becoming an OEM Partner in Sun's Partner Advantage Program is recognition by Sun that RSA has the knowledge and expertise to deliver fully-integrated solutions powered by Sun. RSA in turn gains closer access to Sun technology and expertise. "Over the last ten years RSA has embraced Sun, as have other imaging heavyweights such as Xerox and Kodak, because of the reliability of the platform," noted Tim Kelly, senior vice president at RSA. "The Sun systems are rock-solid and have an excellent price/performance ratio. The hardware and software come from one vendor and everything is guaranteed to be compatible. With RSA's 100% Satisfaction Guarantee to our customers, we can't afford to rely on PCs running Windows, as our competitors do." Under the agreement, and working together with Nu Horizons Electronics Corp., RSA will be able to provide better support to its customers by leveraging Sun's OEM channel resources, in addition to providing greater availability of equipment and more cost-effective solutions. "Nu Horizons is Sun's only designated OEM Channel Development Partner (CDP) in the United States and Canada, and we are excited to work with such a committed Sun provider," noted Dan Romanelli, vice president of OEM systems sales for Nu Horizons. "RSA is a strong advocate of the Sun platform, as is Nu Horizons, and together we can bring the power of Sun to more customers."
