(RSA) an industry-leading supplier of print workflow solutions, is at the heart of a major software developerís worldwide document print center automation and documentation management project. WebCRD, RSAís Postal to the Print Center, enables employees to submit, ticket, reorder, produce and account for printed documents via the web, with minimal operator involvement.
Documents are automatically converted to Adobe PDF using RSA's SurePDF client-side PDF creation tool, and ticketing options are selected using WebCRD's friendly web interface. Intelligent Ticketing ensures that only valid options are presented to the user. For example, stapling is not an option shown for either a one page document or a 200 page manual. Additionally, there are over 13,000 documents in the firm's online catalog for instant retrieval and reorder. Using rules that evaluate order attributes such as ticketing options or the requestor, print jobs can flow automatically to the appropriate printer with capabilities that match the job ticket, thanks to WebCRD AutoFlow.
WebCRD also allows users to order pre-printed forms, documents, and finished goods from an electronic catalog, using the same web interface and accounting capabilities. Adding to WebCRD's powerful capabilities, QDirect, RSA's Enterprise Output Manager adds a host of job management, routing, manipulation, and accounting capabilities.
