NPES Gegenheimer Awards to Clark, Baldwin Technology

Press release from the issuing company

RESTON, VA, November 13, 2006 -- NPES The Association for Suppliers of Printing, Publishing and Converting Technologies is pleased to present the winners of the 2006 Harold W. Gegenheimer individual and corporate Awards for Industry Service to Gerald Clark of Graphics Microsystems and Baldwin Technology Company. Winners were acknowledged at an awards banquet at the NPES Annual Conference November 6 in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida. The awards, named for a former NPES President and Chairman Emeritus of Baldwin Technology Company, recognize qualities which Harold Gegenheimer stood for - a lifelong commitment to technical innovation, sound management, support for education and research and working for the good of the whole industry. The nominees, both long-time members of NPES, were selected in recognition of their strong leadership, involvement and many contributions to the Association and the graphic arts industry. "We are truly grateful to both Jerry Clark and Baldwin Technology for their years of service and dedication," said NPES President, Ralph J. Nappi. "Their commitment and activism is what makes our industry strong." The winners were presented with plaques, and NPES will contribute two scholarships in their names to the Print and Graphics Scholarship Foundation. Nominations for the Gegenheimer awards may be made by any NPES member company. Nominations for the 2007 awards are due August 15.
