Nov 15 - Hiflex Corporation announces the addition of William "Bill" Herrott to their North American staff. "We are very pleased and proud to announce the addition of Bill Herrott, a seasoned printing industry veteran to our Hiflex Stream-lining Consulting Group" said Gary E. Marron, President of Hiflex Corporation for North America. "Bill comes to us with over 20 years of experience in the area of Print Manufacturing, Cost Accounting and he fits superbly into our Hiflex Streamlining Group with his extensive print costing experience
and knowledge base".
"Hiflex's number one charter is to help the shareholders of our customers to become more profitable through the use of Hiflex Systems and Hiflex Streamlining Consulting Services".
"A major issue most printers face is that they do not know what it actually costs to manufacture the products that they produce. This is the reason so many printers have closed their doors and folded because in addition to not knowing their true costs, they also work with tremendously slim margins" says Mr. Marron.
"When a Hiflex customer installs our systems into their facilities, they begin to understand their true manufacturing costs through a process Hiflex Systems employ called "Activity-Based-Costing". Bill will give our clients a head start to this understanding so that they can be sure that their pricing structure isn't below their true manufacturing costs". Mr.Herrott will be tasked with providing Hiflex users and non-users their true manufacturing costs and suggested "Budgeted Hourly Rates" or BHR's.
The Hiflex Streamlining Group also offers Six-Sigma Training to companies that are interested in gaining this knowledge in order to produce products more consistently.
"Printers who are utilizing a "Six Sigma" company wide culture will produce far more consistent and predictable printed results and when
practiced in conjunction with the Hiflex Management Information System they can see when their benchmarks for quality deviate so that they can immediately correct the error behind the deviation. This also leads to a significantly improved bottom line and a "Continuous Improvement Process" (CIP) enabling the printer to strive for a reduction in costly waste and errors. We look forward to helping our customers with the combination of Six Sigma and Hiflex Systems".
"The printing industry has embarked on an exciting new era where it has begun to embrace these standard manufacturing practices that are
prevalent in most other leading industries and as a result, printers who participate will become significantly more profitable and also become highly competitive".
"Printers who commit to retraining their organizations and to utilizing an enterprise approach to their businesses will become contenders in their region and further, difficult to compete with; our goal is to take them there. Hiflex is focused on helping printers to integrate their businesses and to providing the education required for them to take full advantage of these capabilities and ultimately to become more profitable" comments Gary E. Marron, Hiflex President.
