Nov. 9, 2006--AdeptMedia Corporation, a software technology company, has installed its first digital press - a Xerox iGen3(R) 110 Digital Production Press - to meet growing customer demand for full-color, targeted marketing campaigns in industries such as financial, manufacturing and retail.
The Xerox iGen3 press is used for AdeptMedia's print and online one-to-one marketing solutions to more cost-effectively produce customized printed pieces that include distinct, variable content, such as a name, geographic location, person's interest, and personalized URLs. The printed pieces, such as brochures, postcards or calendars, are used in conjunction with online offers to give marketers a variety of revenue-producing communication channels to reach customers.

AdeptMedia is using the 110 page-per-minute digital press for projects such as:
-- Personalized communication offers based on retail orders from a Web site that have targeted messages or incentives, based on a customer's previous buying history.
-- On-demand, full-color customized print jobs for manufacturers and their resellers and partners.
-- Creative financial marketing campaigns, such as personalized postcards that tell people how to find the closest ATM to their home or work address.
According to Pulusani, the company chose the Xerox iGen3 press - with a Xerox FreeFlow(R) DocuSP(R) color server - because of its high-quality digital color printing, quick turnaround for printing variable content, and the ability to print folders and posters on paper up to 14.33" x 22.5."
AdeptMedia is using various workflows and software tools to help create its one-to-one-marketing programs, including Xerox's FreeFlow(R) Variable Information Suite software, XMPie software to personalize its cross-media campaigns, and Press-sense iWay software - a Xerox FreeFlow partner - to streamline the printing process from creation to delivery. It also is using Xerox FreeFlow Process Manager software to automate prepress and production.
The company will showcase the Xerox iGen3 press today at an open house and used Xerox's ProfitAccelerator(TM) digital business resource tools to help plan the event. AdeptMedia is using other ProfitAccelerator resources including the Marketing Accelerator, Digital Sales Management and Vertical Market kits. The company also used the financial modeling ProfitQuick(TM) tool to assess the impact of digital technology before and after the press was purchased.
