Tribune sells corporate plane for $32 million, San Fernando printing facility for $24 million

Nov 3, 2006 -- Tribune Co. has sold its corporate jet for $32 million and their San Fernando Valley printing facility for $24 million. According to wire reports Tribune closed the San Fernando Valley printing facility, where it published the Los Angeles Times, in January and sold it Monday. Tribune is seeking bids from private-equity companies to buy either the whole company or individual papers according media reports.
