Presstek Reports Progress On South Hadley, MA Clean Up

Hudson, N.H., Nov. 2 -- Presstek, Inc., today provided the following update on the progress of the clean up efforts at the Company's aluminum plate manufacturing facility in South Hadley, MA following the chemical release and plant closure on Monday evening: As a result of the ongoing progress of the clean up, Presstek employees have begun to occupy offices in the building where the incident occurred in order to prepare for the restart of operations. Presstek has two buildings on the grounds in S. Hadley, one for the production of conventional aluminum printing plates and a second for the production of digital aluminum plates. The incident occurred in the conventional manufacturing building. The Company expects to resume processing and shipment of customer orders on its digital product line within 24 to 36 hours. Presstek will provide an update on additional production line operations as information becomes available. Local authorities lifted the neighborhood evacuation order, allowing the return of local residents and businesses.
