Press release from the issuing company

Oct 12, 2006 -- Get on your customer's marketing team – that's where the money is! is the theme of Jim Olsen's Imagination, Ink., new seminar series entitled Changing Profit Centers II – complementing offset with digital and variable data print. In 2006, PIA affiliates will be hosting the events in Detroit, Lansing, Batavia N.Y., Nashville, Atlanta and Boston. Fourteen additional events will be presented in the first quarter of 2007. Each venue has a morning seminar session and a luncheon-brainstorming workshop. The inter-active morning seminar will discuss how technical advances and workflow collaboration have made possible new business models and the way we work with customers and partners. Using customer databases and acquiring databases will also be a major discussion point. The luncheon-brainstorming workshop will allow participants to create new-to-the-world marketing campaigns right on the spot. Jim Olsen, President, Imagination, Ink. and the seminar facilitator says “Many a printer recognizes that the digital wave is upon them, but don't quite know how to take advantage of the new print technologies. Especially if they are struggling under the burden of capital equipment debt. Changing Profit Centers II is designed to give them insight as to how to successfully cope with this dilemma. Imagination, Ink. a marketing firm specializing in variable data printing and electronic communications for one-to-one marketing. After decades of running printing, publishing and trade association organizations, Olsen is keenly aware of the price pressures on printing services. He sees adding value added services as the opportunity to break away from commodity pricing and begin pricing on value to the customer as opposed to the traditional per-piece basis. 2006 Schedule and Registration Detroit October 25 Call Linda Stinson at 248-354-9200 Lansing October 26 Call Linda Stinson at 248-354-9200 Buffalo/Rochester November 3 Call Kim Tuzzo at 716-691-3211 Nashville November 8 Call Kyle Eldridge at 615-366-1094 Atlanta November 9 Call Trina Johnson at 770-433-3050 Boston December 7 Call Christine Hagopian at 508-804-4152 Corporate sponsors: The Blue Button www.thebluebutton.net Cohesion www.cohesion.com Hammermill www.hammermill.com Press-sense www.press-sense.com USA Data www.usadata.com Information sponsor: www.theindustrymeasure.com Marketing sponsor: www.ondemandjournal.com Design sponsor: http://www.richtext.com/ Software sponsor: http://www.premediasystems.com/
