WISCONSIN RAPIDS, Wis., Oct. 9, 2006 - Stora Enso recently announced the appointment of Nancy Nyberg to the position of merchant sales director-East for the company's merchant sales unit in North America. In this position, Nyberg will help lead the effort to strengthen relationships with distributors and other customers, while carrying the Stora Enso selling effort further in the value chain. She will report to Paul Clancy, vice president, merchant sales. Nyberg began employment with the company in 1997 as an executive account manager. She was promoted to merchant sales manager-New England in 1999 and, in 2002, was named regional manager, her position at the time of this appointment. Prior to her career at Stora Enso, Nyberg held sales and sales management positions with Champion International, Stora and Appleton Papers, Inc.
