Markzware Announces InDesign to QuarkXPress 7 (ID2Q)
Press release from the issuing company
SANTA ANA, Calif.--Aug. 17, 2006-- Markzware, developer of preflighting, data extraction and conversion software, is pleased to announce the immediate availability of the conversion utility ID2Q7, InDesign To QuarkXPress for versions 6.x through 7.
ID2Q7 is an XTension that easily and effectively converts Adobe InDesign files (v1.5 through 4.x) into QuarkXPress v6.x or 7 documents with a single click. The conversion process includes elements of the documents such as object positions, colors, fonts, text attributes, images, etc. Additionally, ID2Q also converts between cross-platform files; for instance converting PC InDesign files to Mac QuarkXPress and vice versa.
According to Jay Nelson, editor of Design Tools Monthly: "ID2Q solves a giant problem for many design studios. Being able to open an InDesign document in QuarkXPress makes it possible for those who tried InDesign but prefer QuarkXPress to salvage the projects they created in InDesign. It vastly increases page layout options for the entire industry."
Patrick Marchese, president of Markzware said, "We are a company that assists content creators with conversion products such as ID2Q, giving them the freedom to liberate their content and use or reuse it in any way they wish."
Marchese continued: "Many of our customers have requests for conversion tools. We have created a quick survey located at http://www2.markzware.com/surveys/conversion_format.html to determine our development priorities. Our goal is to create several unique and valuable products for our customers serving the publishing and printing industries in the very near future."
The MSRP of ID2Q7 is only $199 and currently available for Mac users only. The Windows version is in development. Additional ID2Q product information can be found at http://www.markzware.com/ID2Q and can be purchased online at http://markzware.com/store_usa/.
