MAN Roland Names Filip Buyse VP of Corporate Accounts
Press release from the issuing company
Westmont, Illinois — Filip Buyse, an industry leader with extensive experience in pressroom and prepress transactions, has joined MAN Roland Inc. as the company’s new Vice President of Corporate Accounts.
In his new role, Buyse will focus on helping corporate clients and prospects maximize their benefits from MAN Roland’s ability to provide both sheetfed and web offset press technology. He will report directly to Vincent Lapinski, COO of Web Operations.
“MAN Roland is the largest web offset press manufacturer and the second largest sheetfed press manufacturer,” Lapinski said. “Filip will ensure our corporate accounts make the most of that synergy, so they can fully and seamlessly apply our innovations to fulfill their customers’ needs.”
In welcoming Buyse, Yves Rogivue, CEO of MAN Roland Inc., pointed to MAN Roland’s position as the only major supplier with a complete product portfolio, covering small short-run sheetfed, all the way up to large high- volume webfed technology.
“Our customers need solutions to improve their bottom lines, regardless if the technology is web or sheetfed related,” Rogivue said. “Filip will head up a team of corporate account experts that bring tailor-made solutions to individual customer challenges. Filip will also bridge and work together with our team of regionally based experts. Regardless if our client is looking for effective ways to boosting revenue or efficient ways to cutting manufacturing costs, MAN Roland offers the most complete solution.”
Before joining MAN Roland, Buyse was Vice President of Sales for Creo Americas. He also served as Managing Director of Global Accounts at Creo, after a three-year term as Vice President of Worldwide Sales for Printcafe.
Buyse’s press experience includes 18 years with another web press manufacturer, where he served in various capacities in sales and sales management in Latin America, Asia and the United States.
As an industry leader, Buyse helped launch the NGP Partner Program to develop a unified JDF platform. He is an active member of PIA's Web Offset Supplier Board and that group’s Presidents’ Conference Planning Board.
