San Antonio, TX (June, 2006) -- The region's largest outdoor signage and large-format printing company, Modern Advertising (also known as Saudi Signs), is expanding operations with the establishment of a new printing facility in Dubai. The new company will be called Megavision and will commence operation in July of this year with a Jeti 3318 printer which the company has recently acquired from Superwide Digital, official dealer of Gandinnovations Jeti grand-format printer based in Dubai.
With established branches around all the major cities in Saudi Arabia and signage/printing facilities, and outdoor media networks in Jordan, Egypt, Kuwait, Qatar and Yemen, the Middle East outdoor signage pioneers are adding Dubai to their regional strategy of becoming the dominant player within the industry.
The companies have purchased four 3300 printers from Superwide Digital in the last 3 years and last month invested in the Jeti 3318 for their Jeddah based operation. A sixth Jeti printer, another Jeti 3318 printer, will provide the UAE market with another quality, 6 color, solvent based printer in July 2006.
“Superwide Digital offers the best and most flexible post sales support in the Middle East and are an integral part of our success of supplying the highest quality large format digital prints in the market. We have our hopes up very high that the new Jeti 3318 printers will be able to cope with our large volumes of demand and stringent quality levels”, says Sameh Taha, the group's president and founder. The company will open its doors to UAE based customers in Al Qussais's industrial area.
Golden Neon acquires their third Jeti printer
Superwide Digital also reports the successful conclusion of another sale to Golden Neon for the installation of a Jeti 5000 printer at the Dubai based printing facility in Al Quoz.
Golden Neon, who have successfully built up their large format outdoor printing market in the last two years with a Jeti 3300 and Jeti 5000, are providing images that are now adorning most of the UAE's lamp post media networks, large scaffolding and high rise mural projects. The company recently completed a 24,000 sqm printing project in the Al Aweer area which earned them top marks for their ability to provide large volume with high quality and very little time.
“The Jeti printers have been running 24/7 since we acquired them and Superwide Digital have been providing us with smooth and consistent service and support all throughout. To be the best you need to partner up with the best and Superwide and Jeti are our strategic partners in this endeavor” says Adel Nazzal, CEO of Golden Neon.
The third Jeti printer, another five meter with 18 Spectra heads and 6 colors will be operational by the end of July.
