LINCOLNSHIRE, Ill. — Mitsubishi Lithographic Presses has announced the appointment of printing industry veteran Michael Abbeduto to the position of Director of Customer Service. Abbeduto succeeds Marke Barker, who earlier this year was promoted to Vice President of Customer Service. The Customer Service Department oversees all day-to-day activities related to parts, engineering and field technical/mechanical service. Abbeduto's career in the printing trade has spanned more than 30 years and ranged from running a press to running the shop. His experience covers heatset web presses, sheetfed presses, and conventional and ultraviolet printing and coating. Most recently, Abbeduto held the position of Vice President of Manufacturing at Suttle-Straus, Inc. in Waunakee, Wis. He was responsible for management of the prepress, pressroom, bindery, shipping/receiving and maintenance departments. During Abbeduto's nine-year tenure, Suttle-Straus was regularly named one of America's fastest growing printers and one of the nation's best workplaces.
