June 1, 2006 -- :Interface, an international magazine published by Agfa Graphics, has been recognised for excellence by the Business Marketing Association of New Jersey. It is the second year in a row that the magazine has been honoured for its graphic design and editorial direction.
:Interface, along with Agfa Graphics and its public relations/integrated marketing agency, Group M, were recognised with an Impact Award, the top honour in BMA's "Internal or External Magazine" category during the organisation's 11th Annual Impact Awards celebration on 25 April 2006 in New Jersey. Susan Wittner, marketing director for Agfa Graphics in North America, accepted the award on the company's behalf. "Once again, the combined teamwork that guides :Interface with unmatched skill and expertise has helped maintain its position as one of the most valued customer publications of its kind," said Marc Verbiest, worldwide public relations manager for Agfa Graphics and managing editor of :Interface. "We get requests from editors all over the world to reprint articles. In addition to the BMA recognition, those requests provide further proof that :Interface is doing exactly what it sets out to do." Verbiest said.
:Interface focuses on the customers, technologies and services of Agfa Graphics. It is published in nine languages with a worldwide print circulation of 120,000.
