Premium Color Graphics adds a Kodak NexPress to help its customers get more personal

Press release from the issuing company

Clifton, New Jersey -- Premium Color Graphics has added a Kodak NexPress to its pressroom here to help advertising agencies, design firms and corporate marketers reach out to their clients and prospects on a more personal level. Assigned to PCG’s Digital Communications Group, the five-color digital press is a NexPress 2100 Plus model, capable of producing Variable Data Printing (VDP). That means it can personalize each piece of a press run with unique text and graphics to more effectively grab and hold the attention of the recipient. “Our clients are seeking ways to make more of an impact with their printed materials,” says Aaron Hale, VP of Digital Communications at Premium Color Graphics. “The personalization capabilities of our new digital press best meets those needs. It’s a proven solution that provides them with a distinct advantage in the marketplace. Personalization builds relationships, and building relationships is what marketing is all about.” Getting Personal Several recent studies have documented that the more personalized the mailing is, the higher response it generates. As a result, advertising, marketing and sales professionals are looking for ways to develop campaigns and materials that are more tailored to the interests of each individual recipient. Today’s digital printing solutions, like the NexPress 2100 Plus, have the ability to produce printed documents that facilitate more direct, personalized interaction with each recipient. In addition, the system’s streamlined all-digital PDF workflow means that finished documents can be ready as needed in hours, so marketers can take advantage of fast-breaking trends. Premium Color Graphic’s new NexPress joins a complement of offset lithographic presses that produce ultra-high quality color for longer run jobs. The digital press gives PCG greater flexibility and faster turnaround capabilities on short-run projects. “We now have the high quality of a press combined with the speed and flexibility of a digital system, allowing our customers to consider a wider range of options to meet their business challenges,” Hale says. On-Demand Advantages One attractive option is on-demand printing. Thanks to the NexPress’ speed and agility, PCG’s customers can order their printed material in small batches on an on-demand basis. That saves on inventory costs and allows marketers to regularly update their promotion pieces to keep them more timely and current. “Printing is no longer just about delivering ink on paper to your customers,” Hale adds. “This technology enables us to extend our business philosophy of truly partnering with our customers. Whether it’s on-demand, short run, or highly customized VDP, we’re in the business of helping them grow their businesses. We can do everything from getting their messages across more effectively, to creating and working through a complete marketing campaign.” PCG is truly a full service communications partner. In addition to VDP, services include web-to-print POP solutions for centralized collateral management, and cross channel communications with PURL (personalized URL) landing sites that increase the already added response rate of VDP with actionable lead generation for complete marketing campaigns. Open House To help its customers fully profit from the new technology, Premium Color Graphics is scheduling a series of open houses during June-August at which time the basics of digital printing and one-to-one marketing will be explored. Participants will also learn how to make the most of full-color personalization and variable data printing. Design tips and promotional advice will also be covered, and valuable educational and reference materials will be distributed. The open house will conclude with a live demonstration of PCG’s new NexPress 2100 Plus press. More information about the free open house events is available from Aaron Hale at (973) 472-7007.
