CHICAGO, IL – May 18, 2006 – The Printing Industry of Illinois/Indiana Association (PII) will recognize those companies selected for producing the best in print media at its Fourth Annual Achievements in Print Excellence Awards Gala on Tuesday, May 23, 2006 at The Fountain Blue, 2300 South Mannheim Road, Des Plaines, Il. At that time the Best of Illinois, Best of Indiana and Best of Show Awards will be revealed. Best of Category winners will be awarded “The Pinnacle” in recognition of their towering achievements. Achievements in Print Excellence (AIPX) recognizes outstanding craftsmanship in the creation, design and production of printed materials. The competition promotes excellence in print communications and rewards companies and individuals who produce excellence in print media. “Each year the AIPX competition grows in number and intensity. The quality of the 2006 entries was striking; print excellence abounds in Illinois and Indiana,” says PII President and CEO, Polly Jensen.
