These various solutions -- shown with Delphax, IBM, and Océ -- are tailored to meet the application requirements of the commercial print, print on demand, book publishing, transactional printing, and direct mail industries: Standard Finishing Systems – Booth 2217 Transactional Statement Printing – Roll-to-fanfold The Standard Hunkeler UW4 unwinder will be shown in-line with the UP3i-enabled Standard Hunkeler FS4 Folder, supporting a roll-to-fanfold transactional application. The FS4 features automated set-up and format changes with no requirement for manual gear adjustment, to increase the productivity of continuous-feed printers. The FS4 is capable of operating in-line to the latest and fastest generation of continuous forms printers, and can also operate off-line, for the fan-folding of preprinted rolls. Delphax Technologies – Booth 2338 Print On Demand – Roll-to-booklets The new Standard Hunkeler CS4-2 Cutter/stacker will cut sheets printed on the Delphax CR2000 Continuous Feed Digital Press and feed them into an in-line booklet maker. The CS4-2 Cutter features an automated diverter gate for blank sheets, and produces straight and accurate stacks for smooth feeding – whether to an in-line or near-line solution. IBM Printing Systems – Booth 1534 Transactional Statement Printing – Roll-to-stack, Slit/merge The Standard Hunkeler roll-to-stack slit/merge solution will be running in-line with the IBM InfoPrint 4100 HD5/6 Printing System, producing straight and accurate stacks of statements at a speed of 330 feet per minute. These high quality stacks provide trouble-free mail inserting, or the system can output cleanly-offset and separated stacks or book blocks for easy downstream handling or finishing. Océ North America – Booth 2800 Print on Demand – Roll-to-stack Lightweight Paper The Standard Hunkeler lightweight roll-to-stack solution will be running in-line with an Océ VarioStream 9220 Printing System, producing digital newspapers on-demand. The oversized sheets will be stacked in a special 27" long stacker. This solution is also ideal for short-run books: the straight and fully separated book blocks can be easily transferred to the near-line perfect binding solution, featuring the Standard Horizon BQ-270 automated off-line perfect binder and HT-30 automated off-line three-side trimmer.
