IPEX 2006 a Resounding Success for Enfocus

Press release from the issuing company

Ghent, Belgium – April 13, 2006 – Enfocus has declared IPEX 2006 a very successful show, with demonstrations of the company’s new PitStop Professional 7 and PitStop Automate products met with Standing Room Only crowds throughout the exhibit week. Executive vice president Patrick Van Dam says Enfocus far exceeded its show goal of conducting ongoing demonstrations of both products, due to ship in May. Over 70,000 installations of PitStop Professional are in use worldwide, and IPEX crowd reaction is one reason why the company expects that many new customers will join the ranks of those who upgrade to version 7. Says Van Dam, “I am extremely pleased that the feedback we had from existing customers confirmed that our new version of PitStop Professional 7 gives them the added value and features they need. We’re apparently on the right track because we continue to attract both prospects and existing customers to our flagship product.” Response to PitStop Automate, Enfocus’ new task-based production automation tool that puts design studios, ad agencies, printers and publishers in complete control of jobs for increased productivity and output consistency; was also highly encouraging. In addition to positive attendee reaction, a total of four suppliers, two of whom signed on during IPEX itself, have in the last month committed to integrating their solutions with PitStop Automate. IPEX discounts for both products will be available through May and, for PitStop Server customers upgrading to PitStop Automate, through June. Agreements Signed with Two New Technology Partners IPEX saw Enfocus sign two new partners to its Technology Partner Program. ICS will integrate its remote virtual proofing functionality, and Ultimate its newest imposition application; within PitStop Automate. Enfocus Estimates 700 Demonstrations Over 8 Days Despite having tripled the number of demonstration areas compared with IPEX 2002, Enfocus says at this IPEX it had no choice but to employ technical support workstations to meet the demand for PitStop Professional and PitStop Automate demonstrations. The company estimates having completed over 700 demonstrations over the course of the show. The demonstrations were not only requested by current customers looking to upgrade to the latest versions. A large number of potentially new customers, as well as vendors, also came to investigate what was new in the Enfocus range of offerings. Says Van Dam, “In fact, at the suggestion of other companies that know us, many vendors came to our stand, in order to evaluate the possibility of integrating our software within their own products; and vice versa, into our PitStop Automate solution.” Van Dam continues, “For the first time at a show, we shared our stand with Artwork Systems as two separate brands, bringing together our combined portfolios, and I am happy to say that we presented a very strong and cohesive exhibit of our capabilities.” He concludes, “We have more than achieved the goals we set ourselves, and I am very satisfied with the successes we have had at IPEX.”
