Oce Appoints Jaime Escudero General Manager of Oce Mexico

CHICAGO, April 11 -- Oce, a global leader in digital document management and delivery solutions, announced the appointment of Jaime Escudero as General Manager of Oce Mexico. Mr. Escudero has been a member of the management team of Oce Mexico since the company was acquired from GE Access Information Systems in January 2001. Oce Mexico, headquartered in Mexico City, sells and services Oce's wide format and high-speed production printing systems in Mexico. The company has a direct sales and support staff that covers the entire country. The direct sales force is supplemented with a dealer network throughout Mexico. Sample customers of the company include Telefonos de Mexico S.A. de C.V., American Express, Carvajal S.A., Office Max Inc. and Delphi Corporation. In this new position, Mr. Escudero will be responsible for all aspects of management of operations in Mexico. Escudero is replacing Jorge Colin who has left the company to pursue other business interests. "Oce Mexico has enjoyed significant growth, providing sophisticated document management solutions to a growing number of large companies in Mexico. Jaime Escudero has been instrumental in leading the sales and marketing efforts for the company," commented Jan Dix, President of Oce-USA Holding, in making the appointment. "Mr. Escudero is one of our best performing managers. This promotion is in recognition of his success at Oce Mexico." Escudero joined Oce in 1991 as the High Volume Product Manager for Oce-USA in the Western Region. Since 1995, he has held a number of sales management positions covering Mexico, Latin America, and the Caribbean. In August 2001, he became Director, International for Oce-USA Holding with a focus on the success of Oce Mexico. Since February 2005, Escudero has been Executive Director, International for Oce North America with primary responsibility for sales and marketing of Oce Mexico. He has a B.S. degree from the University of Southern California and participated in the Oce Executive Program at the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University in April of 2003.
