Vertis Promotes Key Executives Within Its Digital Solutions Group

BALTIMORE (March 29, 2006) – Vertis announced today the promotion of two key members of its Digital Solutions Group. Michael Maher was promoted to vice president and manager for VisionBank Marketing Resource Management, and Jeff Robison will serve as the vice president and manager for VisionBank Ad Production. Both individuals are being recognized for their significant contributions, experience, and ongoing excellence in supporting the needs of clients.

In his new role, Maher is responsible for the VisionBank Marketing Resource Management (MRM) solution, including product and business development. MRM is a suite of Web-based software applications designed to bring more precision, discipline, and control to creating, developing, and producing marketing programs. Maher is a founding member of Vertis’ Digital Solutions Group. He previously served as vice president of strategic marketing at Collabria, a major developer of Web-based e-procurement and collaboration software. With more than 20 years of brand marketing experience, Maher has held senior positions at McCann-Erickson and Young & Rubicam advertising agencies, where he developed integrated marketing campaigns for Fortune 500 clients.
As the vice president and manager for VisionBank Ad Production, Robison will oversee product and business development. VisionBank Ad Production provides inter-dependent software tools for merchandising, advertising, and IT groups to drive accurate and efficient retail print advertising. Robison joined the company in 1998 to develop new lines of business including personalized benefits fulfillment and targeted digital print. He was later recruited to direct inter-company sheet-fed and digital print. Robison joined Vertis’ Digital Solutions Group in early 2002, where he has successfully introduced clients to the benefits of Total Digital Workflow solutions. Previously, Robison served as president of Darby, Inc., a Chicago multi-media production and fulfillment company.
