NUR Macroprinters expands its presence in Mexico with formation of NUR Mexico

Moonachie, New Jersey; March 13, 2006 NUR Macroprinters, a leading supplier of wide-format inkjet production printing systems for the out-of-home advertising market, today announced it is strengthening its presence in Mexico with the formation of a new entity, NUR Mexico, to provide a comprehensive range of sales and support services to its current and future customers throughout the country.
Based in a new 600-square meter facility in Monterrey, NUR Mexico is a joint venture between NUR America, Inc. and Soluciones para Impresores S.A. de C.V. Juan Carlos Vega, a long-time representative of NUR America in Mexico, has been appointed Managing Director of the new venture.
“Our new facility in Monterrey means doing business with NUR Macroprinters in Mexico has just become a lot easier,” comments Nachum Korman, president of NUR America. “Along with a new demo center, we are expanding and strengthening our local staff presence to better serve the needs of our customers. Whether they need technical support, inks, consumables, spare parts, or administrative assistance, we have raised the bar of services we now offer in Mexico to a new, much higher level.”
The new NUR Mexico facility provides a single point of contact for Mexican customers for all of their concerns. It will feature a demonstration and training center and a support center --— all staffed by Spanish speaking personnel. Ink and spare parts are also available at NUR Mexico’s facilities ensuring local inventory to expedite customers’ receipt of consumables and parts as needed.
In order to provide fast response time for on-site support services, NUR Mexico’s staff includes five NUR Macroprinters trained, authorized service engineers based out of Monterrey, Queretaro and Mexico City.
The announcement of the formation of NUR Mexico was made at a 3-day celebration event NUR User Fest the company hosted for its Mexican customers. NUR User Fest provided a program of relaxation, fine dining, socializing and company sponsored presentations running March 11-13, 2006 at the Westin Resort in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.
