Xerox Named To 100 Designer Friendly Companies List By Top Graphic Design Publication

Press release from the issuing company

Xerox Corporation has been named to the “100 Designer Friendly Companies” list by Graphic Design: USA, a top publication covering the graphic design and creative services market. It marks the third consecutive year that Xerox has been included in the exclusive list. Each year the publication recognizes 100 companies that provide first-rate products and services, are committed to education and foster open communication with the creative community. “If we had to limit our selection to the top 10 designer-friendly companies, Xerox would still be on the list,” said Gordon Kaye, publisher. “In an age of interdependence, collaboration and the blurring of design and production, you are only as good as your tools and your teammates,” said Kaye. “There are few companies that really target the graphic design professional, service them and care about them. Xerox is doing an exceptional job of educating and informing our community on the benefits and advantages of digital printing.” According to Kaye, two Xerox product segments were of particular note to the creative community - high-end digital production printing solutions, including the Xerox iGen3 110 Digital Production Press and state-of-the-art digital color printers, proofers and copiers for the office environment, largely including Xerox Phaser products. “Xerox has worked hard to partner with all who stand to benefit from digital printing - from print providers to the creative design community,” said Bob Wagner, vice president, creative services business segment, Xerox Production Systems Group. “We view our role as helping graphic communications professionals do great work for clients.” Xerox is continuing its focus on the creative community in 2006, including partnering with such industry leaders as Adobe Systems Inc. and Pantone, Inc. Xerox also will host regular thought leadership workshops at its Gil Hatch Center for Customer Innovation that educate creatives about new design trends, direct marketing techniques, digital workflow enhancements and the benefits of personalization. Graphic Design: USA’s Top 100 Designer Friendly Companies list appears in the February issue.
