NewPage Announces Preferred Media Partnership With HP

MIAMISBURG, Ohio, June 4   -- NewPage Corporation announced today that it has signed a preferred partner agreement with the Hewlett-Packard Company (HP) to expand the capabilities and advantages of the HP Indigo digital press solutions to even greater heights. This partnership shows a mutual commitment to support the ever growing and expanding needs of the HP Indigo community.

NewPage manufactures widely recognized media brands specifically optimized for printing on HP Indigo equipment: Futura Laser(R), a 96 bright, exceptionally smooth Premium paper; Sterling Ultra Digital(TM) for Indigo, a 90 bright, No. 2, known as the coated paper workhorse for Indigo presses and styled to match both Productolith(R) and Sterling(R) Ultra folio sheets from NewPage, and Blazer Digital(R), an economy paper offering designed to compete with imported No. 3 papers.
