Baldwin Awarded Major Orders for Blanket Cleaning Systems

SHELTON, Conn.--March 2, 2006-- Baldwin Technology Company, Inc., a leading global manufacturer of printing press accessories and control equipment, announced today that it had recently secured significant orders in North America for its Impact(R) automatic cleaning systems. The company valued the orders at approximately $2 million.
The Journal and Courier in Lafayette-West Lafayette, Indiana, a Gannett company, ordered Baldwin's IMPACTflex blanket cleaning systems for installation on its new MAN Geoman 70 press which will be delivered this spring.
In addition, the Denver Newspaper Agency placed orders for blanket cleaning systems to be fitted on five new Geoman presses that will be installed during the summer.
