Harbin Xinqi snaps up Rapida

(June 03, 2008) Packaging printer Harbin Xinqi, from the north Chinese province of Heilongjiang, is about to join the ever-expanding circle of Rapida users. One of the biggest manufacturers of pharmaceutical packaging in north-east China, Harbin Xinqi placed an order at Drupa for a six-colour Rapida 105 with coater and extended delivery. The press, which is slated to ship at the end of the year, will deliver a substantial capacity boost to the company's existing fleet of non-KBA presses.
Harbin Xinqi was founded in 1992 and now employs around 270 people. The press sale further expands KBA's position in the north Chinese market.
