Press release from the issuing company
ARLINGTON, Va. (February 6, 2006) - The Print Oasis 2006 Print Buyers Conference & Exhibit proudly announced today that Xerox Corporation, an international leader in technology, document management and services, will be a premium sponsor of this year's annual conference.
Xerox's Graphic Arts Premier Partners - a global network of Xerox-equipped, industry-leading digital print services providers - is sponsoring a networking reception with cocktails and hors 'deouvres at Madame Tussauds Las Vegas wax experience conveniently located inside The Venetian on Tuesday, April 4, 2006. Full conference attendees are invited to attend and take advantage of this opportunity to meet other print buyers as well as mingle with representatives from Xerox in this unique setting. Space is limited and is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Interested parties will have the opportunity to RSVP during the conference at Xerox booth #407.
"In today's fast-moving, ever-changing business world, there is a need to reduce costs, produce jobs in less time and make them more effective," said Bob Wagner, vice president, Xerox Creative Services Business. "We believe this conference is one of the best ways to address these challenges, and by networking and sharing knowledge with our Premier Partners, attendees will gain insight on how digital technology can help them succeed."
Madame Tussauds Las Vegas immerses visitors in one-of-a-kind, interactive experiences that create personal memories with some of the world's biggest icons including the hottest stars of today, controversial politicians, record-breaking athletes and legends set in wax. A sampling of their interactive attractions includes "Madame Tussauds Celebrity Poker with Ben Affleck" which teaches visitors the game of Texas Hold 'em and invites guests to go head-to-head with one another alongside Ben Affleck. The "Marry Clooney" experience is set in a wedding chapel environment, where visitors are invited to dress up in proper wedding attire and marry Hollywood's most unobtainable bachelor, George Clooney. "HEF: the experience" includes Hugh Hefner positioned on a round bed with personally recorded sound bytes inviting guests to join the party. Bunny ears and silk pajamas are optional! Guests are welcome to touch and take pictures or the Madame Tussauds staff is available to take photos with their digital photo system. None of the exquisite wax figures are roped off.
"We are so pleased to have Xerox as a return sponsor at Print Oasis 2006. It is companies like Xerox, with their commitment and their participation, that help us make Print Oasis a success from year to year. I am positive that this event will be a great opportunity for our attendees to meet one another as well as enjoy a distinctive 'Las Vegas' style experience," said Suzanne Morgan, president and founder of Print Buyers Online.com and PCPI.
