Two Cousins & Associates, Inc to distribute GMG products in Latin America

Press release from the issuing company

Norwell, MA (February 1, 2006) – GMG Americas, the US office of GMG, a Germany-based company specializing in high-end color management and proofing solutions, today announces that Two Cousins & Associates, Inc will distribute its products exclusively in all Latin American countries except Brazil. Based in Miami, Two Cousins & Associates was founded in 1997 by Rick Dieguez. Over his nearly 34 years in the graphic arts industry, Mr. Dieguez has worked with Polychrome Corporation, established the Miami office for Pitman Company, and was sales manager for the Palmer Paper Company, now xpedx, before he set out on his own in 1988. Two Cousins is the exclusive distributor for Dot Master, wide format digital printing materials, SK inkjet digital substrates and Neograf equipment. They are also a reseller of a wide range of other printing equipment and materials throughout Latin America. They sell their products throughout North, Central and South America with the assistance of trade associates and representatives. “GMG solutions bring significant added value to us because the brand has value in Latin America. GMG ColorProof is a unique product, offering a high-precision color control solution to our customers without extending beyond their budgets,” comments Mr. Dieguez. “Also, ‘user-friendly’ always seems to be a small, easy statement that can be over-used, but it is considerably important in our markets. Lots of color management systems are complicated. GMG ColorProof is extremely user-friendly, as is the complete GMG product line. We see significant interest from newspapers, commercial printers, flexo converters, ad agencies, wide format printers—all of the major applications within the graphic arts.” “Rick Dieguez and Two Cousins have a strong track record distributing and supporting graphic arts products throughout Latin America. It’s why we feel very comfortable having them represent us in Latin American markets,” explains Jim Summers, GMG Americas president. “Their network has great relationships with the printing community, and we feel confident that Two Cousins will provide strong technical support for them.”
