NewlineNoosh to Manage Commercial Print for Unilever in North America

Press release from the issuing company

SANTA CLARA, Calif., Jan. 24 -- NewlineNoosh, a leading provider of print sourcing and procurement solutions, today announced that Unilever North America has selected NewlineNoosh to supply the company's commercial print management and outsourcing. One of the world's largest suppliers of consumer goods, Unilever's portfolio of brands include: Dove(R) personal care products, Hellman's(R), Lipton(R), Lux(R), Ponds(R), Slim-Fast(R), Wishbone(R) and many more. With NewlineNoosh, Unilever enjoys a level of visibility and control that far exceeds more traditional outsourcing arrangements for print. The implementation includes three main components: print management advisory services, print procurement and production services, and Noosh, a robust, underlying software platform. Print experts from NewlineNoosh work on-site at Unilever offices to help identify opportunities for innovation and cost savings, especially at the early stages of collaboration with creative agencies. Based on guidance regarding press capabilities and postal regulations, Unilever is expected to streamline costs through better decision making. "We are an extension of the Unilever organization," said Peter Faucetta, Sr., Chairman and CEO, NewlineNoosh. "We provide skilled people and an open exchange of information so that our customer can focus on their core business goals without sacrificing accountability." As demonstrated in an initial test deployment, NewlineNoosh applies best practices in print procurement which result in cost savings and improved time to market. Best practices include leveraging Unilever's spend across multiple brands and agencies; closely monitoring supplier performance; and applying a management methodology that is geared to end-user satisfaction while reducing the occurrence of change orders, late fees, and maverick spending. "Our initial deployment of the NewlineNoosh solution resulted in significant savings and process improvements," said Susan Curatola, Unilever Director of Supply Management, North America. "In keeping with Unilever's focus on supply chain optimization, NewlineNoosh has proven to be an ideal partner to help us meet our sourcing objectives in brand communications." Peter Faucetta, Jr., President of NewlineNoosh said, "We are excited to be working with Unilever, a company on the cutting edge of sourcing best practices and look forward to strengthening our relationship to deliver additional improvement opportunities and savings."
